Busy busy

Post by jdening »

Picked up trailer from Cromer last night - scary fecking drive back with unlit trailer in the dark, sticking out around a foot either side of the Five. Had to...erm...hustle...to get the girls from nursery/afterschool.

Then went to Romford to pick up my chav-seats. Actually, they're ok - CObra Clubman in Red/Black. 80 quid the pair - can't complain, and they're in good order.

Which reminds me...this weekend:

Cut sun roof out, replace with riveted/sealed acrylic sheet
Remove ski hatch
Remove central locking
Add ignition button (wahey!)
Remove side windows and replace with acrylic.
Take wheels to get R888s put on rims
FIt Cobra race seats
Pester Neil (fellow ex-bike racer idiot) to hurry up and buy welder so we can refit mudguard and handbrake lever to trailer....:)

Source:

New rear brake pads (where's the default DS2500 supplier?)
Strut brace
Wet tyres (14" rim)
Lightboard for trailer
Numberplate for towcar (trusty e39 535i)

Then go and play rugby. Hurrah!

Sounds like a busy period James :) Busy and fun too!

Alyn @ ASP can supply DS Ferodo pads but I would imagine a lot of the traders will be at Autosport this weekend. Have a look in the suppliers section or deals and if I can be of any help, let me know.

Hi James,

Give Alyn a call on 0191 410 3770 (http://www.asperformance.com) and see if you can get DS3000's for those calipers (front and rear) - better for dedicated track-use.

Looking forward to Snet,
Andy B
