Dax Tojeiro (Cobra Replica)

Post by daxtojeiro »

This is my little baby, a Dax Tojeiro. It took me 4yrs to build her and a further 4yrs to get it to where it is now.
Current project on it is re-design the intake setup, tried ITB's but couldnt get it tuned nicely so going to fettle the current intake (add another inlet to the plenum) then go back to ITB's in the future. Plan is to replace the 5.0L TVR lump with a V8 Development 5.5L next winter and keep the top end of the TVR and in the following winter fit a pair of turbo's this should marry up to the twin intakes Im doing now.
Obviously its running on Megasquirt, Ive thrown away the dizzy and it is now wasted spark on 2 pairs of ford coil packs, all driven by the MS,
Phil

Driving a fast Jap import is like coming out of the closet, you might surprise some people, but in the end you are still gay.

Very nice, looks absolutely spot on - Can my Jo (my GF) have a quick spin in it?, it's her favourite car of all time. (I've tried convincing her she should change her loyalities to the skyline ... but it's not working)
