Trackday Insurance??

Post by M J P »

With the up and coming day at Snetterton on the 16th Dec and the intention of participating in as many track events as possible. I have been thinking about whether or not to go for some trackday insurance.

I understand that the majority of insurers will not provide cover on a standard policy, but was wondering if there are any that will include (with a payment of a surcharge) this to cover for all trackdays throughout the year?

Also due to my current policy ending in January. Can anyone recommend a good company for a days cover and what sort of cost would I be looking at for the one day ? :?

Matt - have a look at the members deals for insurance, keith michael and greenlight both has track day cover options available on a per event basis and are great rates too for the main insurance. Also Adrian Flux do track cover i believe.

I use HIC as my insurance agent. The policy I have includes unlimited track day cover at no extra cost. The only limits being that the event is non competition, organised by a recognised group or club and is subject to adoubling of your standard excess
