Driver training @ Millbrook

Post by Stuart »

I have had a very interesting conversation with Andy Shulz, a senior instructor at Bedford Autodrome. Andy has years of race experience and specialises in one to one training. Anyway, long story short, he is at Millbrook on Wednesday of this week and I've asked him to approach them on our behalf with a view to hiring the Alpine course for the day or part of it, and not only getting time on the circuit but also taking advantage of Andys skills. He reckons within 20 minutes with a driver he'll be able to identify problems and start to influence change, saving big time in each lap.

Anyway, I'll post the results when I get them :-D

I think that I will have to be your regional rep in Scotland Stu because of these events all being around East Anglia. Maybe I could organize the same sort of events up north.

it makes sense, as I`m sure there are plenty of petrol heads up there.

Ben

Andy is going to Millbrook on Wednesday, not me. I will need to wait and see whether they will hire us the circuit and any associated terms, then we'll work on a date from there. We will try and organise something for a Sunday if we get a choice.

Boxy was telling me he's gonna be based right near St Andrews golf course..........mmmmmmmm  I can see it coming together.
