New race series

Anyone one seen this?
The only thing that really puts me off is launching a new race series at Cadwell, bit of a narrow track. They even complain that at Time Attack. 2 classes up to 400bhp and up to 800bhp.

Can't think of anything better than storming around Cadwell in a load of R32 GTRs, all popping and spitting flames at one another :D

Powerful 4x4 machinery, higher testosterone figures than bhp figures, TV coverage and no doubt some egos. All on a narrow, twisting track..........Can only need in tears for some:willy_nilly:

Still interseted though:driving:

haha, it always feels like an absolute mission.

Saying that, this got me thinking, I've never even had the GTR at cadwell! So not only have I never driven it there which is a tragedy as it's such a great track, it's at least 4 years since I've even been there :o

Have emailed Andy@ CTRC on the flier above to find out more about this race/championship as it looks good, cheers pabs

Seems a strange venue for this event? Done cadwell a few years back in the Golf with alot of high powered skyline's and it seemed suited to n/a cars than big turbo'd beasts

I agree it is quite narrow but there's some long straights and fast bends which suit big power cars even if the real twisties are more suited to something smaller and lower powered.

But yeah, can think of perhaps more suitable venue for the "taster" round of a series running 800BHP AWD 'touring' cars

still looking forward to hearing the details though, would be great if there's a new series that my car is eligible for

Yep Cadwell is somewhere I'd love to just go and look at so that sounds a good event to watch !

Have updated the calendar thanks Pabs.
