So what's the latest gossip.

Ronnie Amis in the 3dr Cosworth is moving up a class to Club Pro 2wd
There will be a Mitsibushi GTO in club class.

RCM GS2, no body knows when this will finally make it's competitive debut.

Be interesting to see what circuits will be used in 2014 and if Knockhill is back on the list.

I'm being very cautious now about discussing the 2014 TA season as I don't want to jinx myself but I think next year will be a good year for Club Challenge at least as by the sounds of it there will be quite a few more competitors mixing it up

*I'm just off to check that the car hasn't fallen off the stands and rolled down the mountain!!

I think your right about 2014 being interesting, the mix of cars in club class is getting wider every year. The banter in the garages is still good with most competitors happy to help and all the secrecy with some just makes me laugh and hunt that bit harder.

I know exactly what you mean mate

We don't buy into all of that secrecy stuff either and to be honest I've found that the more experienced guys in the pits appear very friendly and more than happy to offer advise to help us along

We were having all sorts of issues with the car during testing and found that it didn't matter what we did, we were still constantly getting bags of positive lift above 50mph

The advise that we received from the experienced Time Attack teams proved invaluable and since we applied it to the car it has done absolute wonders for negating the problematic lift issues we were experiencing and now we are seeing bags of down force from our new aero package

I can see the podium now

 Funny as, but oh so true. I could give 2 examples where we were given totally false advise by competitors.

Each round is held on a Sunday isn't it?

Generally are the tracks/venues open to Time Attack competitors on the Saturday for testing and practice?

If they run at Oulton Park that will be on a Saturday.
This year was a funny one with dates. Cadwell was on a Bank Holiday Monday, Croft was on a Saturady as was Donny but that was a last minute change of venue.

In the past the MLR have run trackdays on the Saturady before Time Attack and competitors get a slight discount and at Knockhill Competitors had a private test session 2-5 I think it was.
