I might have a trip to the Pod as i have been to a few of the classic Ford shows before but i haven't been for 2 years now , they are usually packed but theres plenty to see . I like seeing those cossie powered mk2s getting thrashed down the strip

The Classic Ford Show with all the MK1 & MK2 Escorts and the like is on June 2nd. This show is mainly for the cossie boys but you still get a lot of the old school cars there. Plus we'll be running ours down the strip at this one:driving:

13.2 is the time to beat isn`t it? Do you recon on seeing the 12`s?
I will be there the week before for GTI international, Just hope it warms up a touch before then.

(Although Martin Smith of Team Extreme has just done an 8.4@168mph today!!!)

I am hoping to see a 12 something as the last time was a 13.2 as you said. Just hope the gearbox and diff hold up, but as we plan to change them afterwards i'll be able to relax a lot more.

Sounds like the balls out approach is the order of the day then!:thumbs:
Skip the 12`s and go straight for the 11`s?:D
