Not sure what to think about 7 rounds at 7 circuits. Does this extend the series or just reduce the double headers?

They're trying to get 7 rounds at 7 circuits over 7 months, so a longer season. No double headers. We liked the double headers as they kept the costs down, but I don't think they worked well from the show side of things.

Additional Notes
a) We are currently unable to release competition dates due to last minute movements within the motorsport calendar, we are hoping this will be resolved very soon
b) We are looking to operate a seven round Championship between the months of May to November, we are not looking to run any weekend events so this will be seven separate rounds with one per month
c) A ‘Test & Tune’ day is planned for March 2013 at a centrally located venue, the day will give you the chance to not only run your vehicle but as it will be operating as a track day (105db) it will also allow you to bring along any guests, sponsors etc., to take in the experience as a passenger. There will also be a hospitality area where drivers, friends, family, sponsors etc., will be able to mingle and discuss the coming season. The date, venue and costs for this have yet to be confirmed but as soon as they are available they will be sent out
d) We are currently working on a system to provide live online timing and weather radar for smart phones in 2013, more details to follow
e) The 2013 Registration document is available should you wish to confirm your entry
f) The 2012 figures from the TA website, social media channels (TA’s and associates) and the filming are currently being compiled and will be sent out to you shortly, we will be collating these into a document which you will be able to send out to prospective sponsors etc.,
g) For 2013 we are looking to introduce a new and exciting TA class which will focus on another area of the aftermarket tuning scene which is currently not catered for, we are currently working on the structure for the class and more details of this will be available once its current feasibility programme has been finalised
h) OHW’s will now receive a free sticker pack (one per season)with their entry

Looks like a busy season Pablo but how much of a factor will the additional format add to costs? and is it sustainable to the "amateur" team

This may have been answered in previous threads but assuming that your car is already built/setup, how much would you expect to invest (I use that term very loosely by the way) on running costs/fees etc in a season of TA at club level?

A fair bit Harry. The 'amateur' team status has long gone. If you've not got carbon fibre panels on your car you looked upon as if you're Oliver Twist.

I was only saying to Charles the other day he needs to do something about Oliver to bring him up market.
Strikes me that TA could price a lot of people out of the series
