Modified Live @ Snetterton weekender! (Build up, photos and reportage)

Sat here about to go to Snetterton to meet up with Gary of APT, and bracing myself for the first proper Motorsport exposure since the Berg Cup in May. Mixed feelings about my involvement but glad to have a foot in proceedings rather than sitting on my arse, reading about it all retrospectively!
Gary et al will be involved with the MLR's trackday today and I'm expecting to see quite a few TA competitors getting a few laps in or setting up at the very least. Gary is up there in the first instance to support a few customers of his that he looks after, including a mental spec race EVO 7 (I think) and another Time Attack Evo 3 that should be a real weapon in club pro class. With Pablo's rumours about a certain Mr Clark taking part setting the automotive juices flowing, and a hint that the APT Evo may get a run out later today it's hard to stay objective about the weekend.
I spent about 5 hours valeting Gary's car during the week, and it's genuinely the first time that I've really taken on board how far removed that is from a regular car, even if you want to call an Evo 7 a regular car in the first place. The way that years of development, tweaks, drawing board changes and specification enhancements have honed the car into what many of us take for granted now is incredible. Lord above knows what the car will be capable of when Gary is used to the slicks, aero and full power!
Saturday and Sunday see me giving the TNT team a little support in the form of accommodation, banter, errand boy and a bit of media coverage. I sincerely wish the guys have a smoother ride of things than they have in recent meetings, but this will be one hell of a tough weekend. The gruelling 300 circuit on Saturday and then the more familiar 200 circuit on Sunday! Tough for any car and driver.
It would be nice to see your support this weekend in one form or another, whether it's in attendance or following the thread and chipping in with banter and feedback. I will try to give you some live updates with times, news and developments but I'm not sure about how that will work yet. I'll check with MSV when I get there.
