Marham on for the 18th/19th Aug

Post by Ben »

Dear all,

Just a quick reminder to say that the Track Weekend planned for the 18th/19th Aug is still going ahead and still has plenty of places left.

This will be the only event of this type this year but we hope to go back to two events per year in 2013.

For this event we

Ben, whats the deal with this then? how is the course laid out? is it cones? Also, whats the surface like? Marham killed my 888s last year at the sprint do. No biggy as I can put old boots on.

So is it basically like a track day, just on the airfield? Good price...

Sorry if this is already answered...

Monster, I've not been there, but from what guys have said, it is a coned layout, and the surface is a bit rough and abrasive. YouTube marham trackdays, I m sure it's on there.

Yep, marham will kill your tyres - I had my tyres through to the canvas after 4 or 5 sessions - hence my little spin off with Stu millimetres off my bumper.

It's massively abrasive but amazing grip.

If there are a loads of you it's a giggle - especially when they're similar cars.

White was me, black was Stu, camera car is Mike.

You'll see we just cruised down the runway basically only going for it in the bends.

Can this still be entered for the 18th or 19th as the golf is now ready for its maiden thrash and would be a ideal test session, if somthing goes wrong not alot of money wasted
