Oh just a quick one from me, as i never have time to drive on the events so it is a report from "The other side" of the desk :-) .
Well all in all a great day from my point of view.
The day sold out two with two weeks to go, and we had a reserve list of 20 wanting to get on the day.
All the drivers were signed on by 09.20 ( if they turned up by then ) so track was life and cooking by 09.30 .
96.4% of people had a great time on the track with 2% pranging there pride and joy and 1.6% were not to happy after running out of fuel on the circuit !! This in turn made 18% of folk not happy while said car's caused Red flags !
However it was a sunny, dry , warm Sunday at Snetterton which also happened to be Opentrack's 4th Birthday.
We even had Dr J.Palmer fly in to wish us a happy Birthday and then he had a walk round the pits chatting to track drivers about various things ( cars mainly i think ).
The day ended at 4.55 just shy of 5.00 but it was a great day and well supported.
I am very thankful of the support that forums and groups give to Opentrack ( me ) for there continued attendance in this day and age,and after four years i must say i have had a great time .... well 94.7% of the time was great the other bit not so great .
However again many thanks for coming along, i do try to get out to say hi to as many folk as i can on the day but sometime the day go's by so fast.
Just before i dash ..... kids bed time, i would also like to say thats to the staff at the tracks ( all of them ) as with out them none of us would be able to have fun.
