Silverstone GP Circuit 27 Feb 2011

Post by Harry »

Well I have finally got around to using my retirement voucher from my colleagues in the office so Russ and I can look forward to a great day out. My only concern is the day is booked with Gold Track and from memory they tend to attract Porsche and Ferrari owners so the Silver Subaru will need to be on top form to keep our end up

It will be interesting to see how it compares with the old GP circuit I absolutely adored Bridge and the complex through Priory,Brooklands and Luffield into Woodcote.

I would be interested to hear from anyone who has driven the circuit

We will post a write up after the day

ive been round the the new track and to be honest its quite good
BUT it dont replace the thrill you get going through bridge corner.

the tight left in the arena section is deseaving as there is not barrier
line as a reference point, best way i found to take the corner was out
wide turn in and go in slow as you will slide out wide.

here some footage of when i was out last year in august

part 2

hope the footage helps give you a insight
