That also was our last day of 2008 and what a way to end, so on to 2009

February 25th is the start of the 2009 trackday season for us here at Opentrack. We are starting as we mean to go on by using one of the best drivers circuits in the Uk Oulton park.

Widely acknowledged as the most picturesque race circuit in the country, Oulton Park is recognised as much for its stunning surroundings as the spectacular racing that takes place on its hallowed tarmac.

Track Day - Oulton Park -25th February

Opentrack are please to announce that we will be running a Open Pit lane Track day at Oulton Park on February 25th 2009


The day will follow a open pit lane structure and the track will open at 09.00 and close at 17.00 Hrs with a hour for lunch.

The cost will be:

139 GBP per car and driver
40 GBP per additional driver,
10 GBP per passenger.

Included in the price of the day is the following.

Free Tuition
Free Garages
Free On Track Photography
Free Treats
Free Fruit and Drinks

Just to follow on in the spirit of things we have had Krispy Kreeme , we have had Mince pies at Christmas so this time as Pancake day is the day before !

Free Pancake's all day then .

Just a quick note to let you know that it is just a month away from this date at Oulton Park .

we have two instructors free of charge on the day one is Maxx who is a regular on here, and thoe's of you who have been out with him know how good he is
and the other Instructor is Mike wilds http://www.mikewilds.com also another very capable chap.If you wish to have instruction please let me now when you book.

I'm regretfully having to duck out of this; a new job and new commitments mean that I just can't take time off mid week this soon. I am very sorry on two counts;
a) missing out on Oulton, a circuit that everyone tells me I should do
b) I feel like I'm letting you and Phil down in saying 'Yes' initially and not being able to do my bit now

If there is anyway that this becomes possible, I'll let you both know and be there for what I'm sure will be a tremendous day.
