I'm in the process of putting some information together for next years various competitions and I thought the best place to start was finding out how many people are serious about taking part, whether it's in the odd event or a full season.

Obviously I'd love a list of names (what is it about lists?!) but I'd also really welcome feedback about what YOUwant from sprinting.

I have loads of ideas but they are of little relevance if I'm the only one thinking them :D

1) Stuart, selected events, maybe a championship of 6 or 8 rounds. Reduced cone-age please :thumb:

Assuming Debden goes ok, I'll be up for similar next year - selected events, maybe a championship with 6 or 8 rounds, also with a preference for proper circuits!

I would say that a championship of 10 rounds with the best 7 or 8 to count. Also on proper circuits!!

There is the TWMC All Circuit championship already out there, Kim has done this for the last couple of seasons.

Could possibly go for one of each of the regular venues, North Weald, Debden, Abingdon, Curborough, Cadwell, Lydden, Brands, Longcross.

That way, someone else is doing the organising for us :)

How about throwing in a RWYB day at Santa Pod. There'd need to be a power to weight handicap system but it could add a little something different. What's a Production Trial? Is that like an Autotest? Maybe a hillclimb or two?

Would be nice to include a round at Snetterton on a club meet evening.

It's all very well for the likes of Logan, Kim, Stuart and me, who have all tasted a first in class but there needs to be a levelling system to give everyone a chance. WHP/Kg? It's not much fun to have driven the car to near destruction and come third, fourth or fifth every time.

In an ideal world, we could have a club car, Golf or similar, that everyone uses, entry fee includes maintenance and repairs. The only difference being driver ability. That scenario would only work on the club autotest evenings. Last one in gets the knackered clutch and overheated brakes though :)

We could all join the RAFMSA and do a regular Barkston Heath. Nice little circuit with no cones and only

im all ears about this and the idea of power to weight sounds good as i'l probably be in a sub 200bhp car next year at least that way the bp championship could have no class structure so where all in it, or maybe 2 classes 1/ road going on 1a tyres and 2/ modified on 1b's
as i'l probably be in class d7 next year (if all goes to plan
) and no other bp members are in that class

as suggested it could be entertaining to have something different thrown in like a snetterton autotest (love the idea of all using the same car aswell) or even the 1/4 mile etc...

whatever happens im looking forward to next years events and with even more big power members getting involved it will be superb.

As i'm looking to pop my sprinting cherry next year i will be looking for all the help and advice i can get off you guys. In return i will back and support the above as much as i can when i'm back home in the UK.

I like the thought of Bigpower having there own little championship but seeing as i might be away i take part and get invovled in what ever i can.
