Cadwell timing

Just occurred to me;
How much time would you lose on a standing start compared to doing a full flying lap? I wouldn't have thought there would have been much in it between the two.
Thoughts?

Just over the mountain, outside the restaurant. I'd normally go through there at around 70 I guess. Essentially the sprint missed the mountain out, so imagine using the pit entry and exit as the bit that they missed out.

Just looking at PBox data, I guess my speed at the top of the mountain is 60 or so

The start line was just before the pit lane that leads you onto the track if that helps, so I guess my estimate should be quite accurate with a bit more power and a bit more room to accelerate.....
Really, I'm trying to make an educated guess at a full lap time with a flying start compared to a standing start lap in the high 94 second sector.

I'd say you were 15 seconds off a full lap with the run up to the mountain and the flicks through there and over the top.
The amount of time you are losing on the start to get to the right speed for hall bends wouldnt be as much as you thought.
Did you not time when you were doing full laps there to avoid the 'I would be doing xyz lap time if we did it' BS

?
