Pembrey May 31 & Jun 1

Just back from Pembrey. Proper ballsy circuit if very flat... three bottle testers including a great combination of quick, 4th gear in evo, corners.
Day 1 1 2/3rds laps (like Lydden) Day 2 just the 2/3rds which kept the turns but lost long straight and one bottle tester.
Four in class on Sat and I think won by about 3 secs. I say 'think' because the meet was a shambles. Late starting, one class had to have last timed run on Sun and no final results by mid afternoon Sun...
Sunday I left after first timed run as Wales is a long way from Cambridge - 5 hours-ish - and I was in lead by 5/10th from Saturday's class p2 Impreza. I think I must have had more grunt than him for the straight which was missed on Sun.
No results so far on slow update website so probably will remain a mystery for a while. Still object of exercise achieved as I was only SBD starter in class so took 2 'wins'.
I loved the track but it had me mystified. On all but one run I improved my time but only by tenths. Usually at a 'new' circuit you knock lumps of time off but even though I was gaining confidence and pushing harder times crept down.
Other cars went slower as the very hot Saturday went on so maybe that is cause but it had me foxed. I hung it all out on final run and thought I was off a couple of times on the exit of fast sweeps and knocked just 3/100ths off...
Could be track or the timing as I think the lack of results was down to timing 'issues' which is a problem to most of us. Race control was very tight lipped about it all.
I'd recommend a visit as it is proper quick and a real test but budget for a
