I'd love to Stu but I am not sure that I would pass the noise tests there .. what do you think?

Tough one mate. Gerry didn't despite his best efforts. Do you know if the TA round is a 'noisy' day? If not, this may be a good way of finding out where you stand now rather than later.

Surely Mike and the guys can recommend a silencer that will cut a few dB without strangling the power?

In essence, I think that you will gain far more from sessions at Donington, a circuit that you are not familiar with, than another romp around Snett, good as it is. You are spot on to question the noise limit. If you can pass then you should go to Donny over Snetterton.

The TA date is a noisey one 105DB day.

There isnt much quieter than mine as it is tbh. I could get a baffle for the end that will drop it down a few DB I believe - will chat with Miltek to see what they have.

You are right - Donington would be my preference for a shake down/familiarisation.

It'll be a very hand day to cut my teeth round Donny. Again the noise limit is something that I'll have to sort out.

Just been on the phone to Bob Adams at Donington and he basically said it was a waste of time me even trying.

Even a brand new PPP std Subaru would be kicked off for being noisey.

Bookatrack and Gold Track are the only two other track days companies that book days with them and they have nothing coming up so it looks like Snetterton will be my testing session. Gutted.

Have fun guys :thumb:
