Just to get a 'newb' a better idea of what's going on........
My car will be running the standard drive train and engine capacity, aftermarket ECU, standard silhouette of bodyshape but may have some composite panels. It will have no interior barring two seats, custom dash, full cage, maybe macrolon side 'windows'. I will be using R888's for dry/damp and R1-R's for wets.
What class will that put me in* and who am I going to be running against from this forum?
What class will YOU be in?
* I think I know the answer but you chaps will know more than me.

Excellent. I had hoped that there would be at least one guy I knew to drive 'with'. I understand that effectively it's me against the clock but one of the things that struck me about the Weald event I attended was how great the atmosphere was as you were there with your mates. I would hate to be Johnny No-Mates at this sort of thing as a new guy.
What class will you be in then Logan>

Yeh, good to have people you know to race against, but its s friendly atmosphere, my forst event I knew no-one, apart from a few PM's with Andy (ESL), but you soon get chatting!
I will be in B3 again hopefully, just need to get my rear seat trimmed to fit round the cage to comply with the regs!

I know you guys are friendly enough, regardless of class, it was more that if there is one or more other people that I'm running with/against I know who to bribe
Joking aside, I cannot wait for this.

Me neither. The off season always goes too slow.

So would the main differance being between D8 and B3 that would apply to most of us be that you can still squeeze your backseats in and keep the interior?
B3 for me then!

Also the tyres you can use, B3 is list 1A tyres only, D8 you are allowed slicks etc.
What spec is your Civic as if its still NA then you will be in production class 2000cc and under, if its supercharged etc then you jump up to our class and play with Porches and and other Japboxes, mainly Evo's and Scumbaru's
