Don't know how relevent it is but Paul@Zen suffered oil surge at Rockingham and did his engine no good. Good chance of fuel surge to I imagine.

if so, what can you do about the fuel one?

Don't know about other marques but Scoobies don't seem to like prolonged cornering. The fuel tank is like a saddle bag where it crosses the prop shaft. The tank sits on the r/h side so right handers and lowish fuel level can see the pump gulping fresh air

Happened to me at Snetterton on just under half a tank. I have a swirl tank I've yet to fit for the fuel problem.
My sumps baffled and I put money on Paul's being baffled too but I imagine his cornering forces are a little more than mine.
