The Disaster Day That Got Worse! :(

Well guys we got on the road this morning at around 7.20am and headed up through Ipswich to meet up with Matt (M J P), which we did and his car sounded lovely. We got a little lost having taken a few wrong turns but ended up getting on the right track eventually.

As we were going up the A414 a pheasant was playing chicken (I think it forgot what breed it was!) and we had to swerve all over the road to avoid it! It was lucky I'm kind-hearted otherwise I would've splatted the bugger! :)

When we got to Snetterton, it was nice to see some of you guys and had a good snoop around your cars. :)

We had 3 sessions booked out on track, 10.30, 12.00 and 14.00. As most of you are probably aware we only got around 4 laps of the first session! :( There was a tapping noise coming from the engine, which could be a number of different things, so I thought I'd pull off the track and call it a day.

We called the AA and they said that they'd get somebody out to assist us. I explained pretty much what it was and said that it needs towing away rather than a job that can be simply fixed there and then. They said that someone should be with us within the hour.

We wandered into Tyrells to have some food and as I hadn't eaten any breakfast I had a huge portion of food, which I might add cost

Nick

It was really nice to meet you, and I think the fact that you can laugh at all this adversity speaks volumes. I'm sure your car will be back stronger and faster. A comedy of errors from the recovery firm, a stark contrast to Bens experiences today but at least the kind gesture from the garage manager may have helped, if only to remind you how crap so 'normal' cars are

Cheers
