My car is misfiring like a mother****** and I can only put the problem down to a duff AFM or coils that are gasping their last breath (although someone who knows what they are talking about may have a different opinion :) )
I'll be there in any event, no idea what car I'll be in, but don't laugh if you see a BigPower hire car doing laps tomorrow

The ironic thing is that earlier in this very thread I was whinging about being outnumbered by 4 cylinder cars and now, it seems, I have one too

I have just taken the coil packs apart, tightened the plugs ( although they did't need it)replaced everything carefully and on a very careful 2 mile drive it was ok. I will take it for a longer drive home (20 miles or so) to get everything up to temp and see what happens.

Do you want a spare set of 0.8mm gapped plugs - i've got a complete set just lying round in my office. Also worth wrapping the coilpacks in insultating tape incase one is breaking down

Ben, that's really generous mate but I cannot get away from the shop today. I'd forgotten about the coil pack thing though, so will have a go at that this afternoon :thumb:
