Although saying that, It was great fun until then (a bit slipply though)

Pic taken a minute after they pulled us all in...

HOW much fun were those last ten minutes before that though! :hurray:
Had a good day all in all but would liked to have learned Brands a bit more - just as i was getting quicker the conditions worsened again :frown:

Top call from Dave to still run the day though and keeping us all up to date at all times was brilliant. Thanks Dave.
James is looking for the next trackday...

I had ten minutes track time under yellow flags, and didn't enjoy it. The weather wasn't looking good and I didn't want to bin it so I went home. I don't mind rain on a track day, but snow and ice is just too much tbh. I guess that's the chance you take booking a december track day. I did get some video before I left, I was surprised brands ran it as long as they did. I'm going to wait for warmer weather for my next outing.

Ten minutes?! Jesus.......
I did think of you on the way down there; the fact that you had a longer trip than me, the fact that the 200 is rear wheel drive and auto. Any sympathy disappeared when I remembered that you have a heater :)

See you in the Spring Ray

Ach, sorry to hear this guys. Weather clear and sunny in Cambridge so I imagined you'd be having a great time down there, despite the cold.

I was lucky at Oulton last month; driving up on snowy roads the night before I feared it might be cancelled, but was all good in the end.

You make it sound like i'm going into hibernation, come to think of it....

The worse bit of the journey for me was getting to swaffham, and the lack of radio, but at least the heater works. :D

It did seem stupid to drive a 260 mile round trip for ten minutes track time, but had I crashed the car and had to get towed back it would have been worse.

I had R888s on, I can also confirm they're not the best snow tyres!

Don't rub it in:p, I was really surpised how variable the weather was, when I left Brands the roads were thick with snow and visabilty was very poor, by the time I got to Dartford it had cleared a bit and by the time I was on the M11 it was sunny.

Hey ho, 'til the next one.
