You've got to be there to 'win' anything Logan~ talk is so very cheap ;)

It was a great day overall but it did highlight to me that if you want to be really quick you have to be prepared to bin it. I don't think I'm confident enough of my limits or the cars, so until that point I'll play it safe.
Seeing a few of the smaller cars buzzing around reminded me of a perfectly disposable Sierra at the unit just begging for more power and a damned good thrashing.

But then again track days arent about winning anything - just an excuse for a very fast drive, bagfulls of fun and a safe (er) place to use our car's potentials :D

Very true mr staples, that little honda civic was oh so capable round the corners but just didn't have the power in 3rd upwards, however I think he would have cared less if he lost it .....

I was mighterly impressed how on the back straight when you hit 3rd nearly every car was toast ..... especially those pesky impreza's ... :). Especially loved the 2nd gear pull away from the chicance prior to the pit straight - wheelspin 2nd to 3rd - get in there!.

I was almost very impressed with the very similar straight line performance between j's GT3 and your 32, however have to say J's corning ability / handling ability / or madness was quite noticeable, especially when watching him get it a little sideways a few times.

Nice to see an 'expensive' car (however based on the skyline - probably the cheaper option) being driven as it should be driven.

Something I would recommend to all is get out there as a passenger with a few of the guys just to see how much your driving style can differ, I've seen snetterton in a different light now.

also, stop belittling your driving skills, you're a great driver mate, really smooth and considering the speeds etc, very safe, after the initial fear of the speed we were taking the first corner I realised that you would take your car to the safe limit so settled in to enjoy the drive.

I would have stayed for another go however Harry and Tom were being woofters due to the cold - these computer playing kids .. tisk.

I think Tom took a shed load of pics so will join up to post them later.

Especially to show you Sky-barge owners a thing or two
It's not easy for us Skylines owners, we have to contend with red Golfs spinning infront of us and Blue Scoobies understeering round the corners;)

More friendly banter.....

Damn that black Evo copying my idea of black rims with a red lip!!! over a year I've been talking about having them on the Skyline, but now we got the Evo I was going to do the same. I'm sure he must of read it somewhere. We were going to get the Volk Limited Edition ones! Grrrrr.

Anyhoo, the track looks pretty good there, so I can't wait to get some action down! I might even see if we can get some last minute mods fitted for then.......
