Just received this from Chris

Many thanks for choosing to attend the Circuit Days track day at Cadwell Park on the 29th of October. This final instruction should contain everything you will need to know for the event.

Itinerary
07.30 Driver Sign-on in the club-house 12.30 Afternoon Signing On
08.30 Drivers Safety Briefing 13.00 Afternoon Safety Briefing
09.00 Driving Starts 13.30 Driving Starts
12.30 Lunch 17.00 Circuit Closed

This event will be run as open pit lane.

Also, please make sure you read the 7 point checklist below before commencing your journey to the circuit

1) Bring your driving license (please note that an MSA race license is not an acceptable substitute).

2) Make sure your car complies with any noise restrictions at the venue (105dB drive by).

3) Ensure your car has a current MOT or is capable of passing MSA scrutineering. You should also check your car is fit for the purpose intended; this includes brake, tyre, suspension and steering checks.

4) Fit your towing-eye prior to joining the circuit.

5) Bring suitable clothing as covered arms & legs are required at all times on the track.

6) Slicks are not permitted on cars without adequate rollover protection.

7) No hand-held cameras are permitted - any cameras need to be securely mounted in the car.

Additional Requirements
The primary requirements are that all drivers, passengers and spectators sign an indemnity (forms obtained from the club-house) and that anyone going out onto the circuit wears a helmet. Helmets are available to hire at

As usual something always goes wrong :(

Its beginning to look unlikely that my car will be ready in time for the track day :( Alloy wheels have been ordered but are not in stock :( I believe my standard ones are knocking about somewhere so if all the other work is finished off may well be attending on scabby old 17's

I'll keep you posted,

Michael.

Am told by the circuit that camping is ok in the paddock on Sat night, so long as arriving after 5:45pm (when the night security staff arrive). I plan to do that, it'll bring back memories of racing bikes :)

Andy

Is it possible to try and save enough spaces together for the BigPower team ?

To camp or on the track?
From what I gather that may not be necessary. The car park by the paddock is pretty small but as there is only 8 of us and the day isn't filled.................
