Great write up Stu. Sorry I couldn't make it, sounds like I missed a great day out. So you're getting the clutch problem excuse ready for Sunday's mullering? :roll:

Jase, you must be the jammiest bugger going to not have hit anything during that off. It gave me a fright and I'm only watching the vid.

Great pics from Mr Bartfast. The paddock looked like a BMW dealership forecourt.

Oh Jason,

By 18 seconds in I thought you had actually gone for the drifting on purpose and was surprised you lost it at the last, if you had put your foot flat to the floor at 18-19 seconds as the back end cam round to the left you would have made the corner for sure.

Had a cracking day in the old rover -had some problems with a boost pipe earlier in the day which nearly ended my day.
Managed to sort it tohugh and had some real good battles with the beemers etc 8)
A few scary moments too especially in the wet!

i have to admit the first phase where i caught it seemed to happen in slow motion as i was thinking this will make good footage :-D but then as it snapped back and i was facing the tyre stack self presevation kicked in and any thoughts of being a drift god where vented from my body as i bailed out across the grass unscathed to fight another day :-D i suppose i can remove my passenger seat now as no one will want a pax lap after seeing that
