Yep car sounded great and looked well set up
i noticed you mobile phone pic that it did not quite make it home ....... under its own steam
if it's any consolation i too went home the other week from snet's on the back of a low loader
and the result was a new engine ........ hope yours is less than that !

Sorry to hear of your problem Trev especially as the car was running so well by all accounts. If it was lean running, I had that early on due to the OE fuel pump being unable to supply enough fuel under full power, just when you need it. Another possibility, if running much under a half tank, is the r/h corner onto the Revett straight. That's where I first experienced fuel surge and as we have the same MY, who knows? Anyway, hope you get it sorted without too much hassle.

Great pics from Mr MGV8 :thumb: Any more? :)

Glad you all had a good time and only sorry my car's out of action otherwise I'd have been there with you.

I have to be honest Bryan, this wasn't an event that I organised. But thanks for thinking it was one of 'mine'. (Mine are better attended mate ;) )

I really liked the Subaru SVX to be honest, apart from the BGW, it was cool.

could have been the fuel pump as it is the stock oem one , its on the 'to do list' and is/was going to be the next thing to do along with power fc, i think im going to be missing one or two events that i would like to attend early next year, never mind im getting used to it now, just hope i can get it ready for march and the jisc,
as for fuel surge i had not noticed it atall, my previous pulsar used to suffer from it so know what its like, also at the time i had 3/4 tank of fuel
also thinking could this be the chance to go 2.5L
