Best of British chaps. With my 'heater' set to maximum it was freezing on the inside and outside :D Worst case scenario, I'll set off a bit later in the morning after thoroughly checking the weather forecasts and M25 traffic cams first.

Times like this I wish I lived near the Ascari track :D

I hope those who do make the effort tommorrow and go out to play have fun.:)
I bet the most popular car of the day for once wont be the fastest or the best handling, But will be the one with the best heater?

Play safe folks!........................If not photos please!:D

From Dave...

Good Evening .

Just a quick note from me to say one or two points about the Track Day on Friday,

The will be a main Briefing at 08.30 at the bottom of the "Race Control Tower" if you should miss this i will do another at 09.00 i understand some people may have some un pleasant weather to travel through to get to the track but please do not put yourself in danger by trying to rush your journey.

If you should miss the 9.00 briefing i will do one at 09.30 as well, after this i will do them as you arrive.

The weather ................ After having a few phone calls this evening regarding this factor as far as i know ( via BBC weather site )

Thursday Rain with a very cold night down to - 5

Friday Sunny with a temp of 0 during the day.

Saturday Snow

To be honest i can do nothing about the Weather, if i could i would be very rich and have a nice E-type Jaguar s1. However i have arranged for a txt company to txt you via your mobile phones if there is a problem with the running of the day. This will either happen on late Thursday afternoon / evening or as soon as we can on Friday morning.
My Cell phone will be on from 06.00 on Friday morning feel free to call if you wish. PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE 01954 Number on the site, as my wife will not be too happy!

If you booked via opentrack i asked you to return your mobile numbers to me. I have most however some people have not returned them to me if this is you please do so.

Like you all i have my fingers crossed for a good day,

have a safe trip and hope to see you all there

Best Regards

Dave Woodall

I have just got a superb link from my Brother

http://www.keepmoving.co.uk

Type in M25 clockwise and it will show you the areas of concern (none really)

Or go to CCTV and type in M25 and then pick any camera position that you want!! :D

Woop woop...........
