Just spent the last thirty minutes typing a witty and articulate post and must have hit a shortcut key and lost the lot! Bollocks.

A great day out guys, well done to all who attended. Great photos Ben, nice write up Andy~ is doing a 'Staples' a compliment?

Glad I was Bladey's first (the first car he'd overtaken on a track that is) Certainly showed some of his normal tomfoolery on the exit of Sears, the Esses and Russells. Of course the Porsche looked very 'at home' on the circuit and our two cars were inseperable in a straight line. A shame for me that my lack of bottle/talent meant that Bladerider had the edge when things got twisty. I genuinely wish that I'd had longer on track before we started comparing as I think once I'd got my eye in I would have fared better. But I didn't so there you are.

Thanks to all of the passengers that climbed in. I thing Gary @ APT may have a couple of more customers for the TEIN and EDFC after favourable comments from both Dunk and Ben. Ian was very quiet indeed in the car and Chris just kept looking at the speedo, probably seemed slow after Gary's EVO.

Overall I'm delighted with the day. Some good banter, great driving and nice cars. Match that with good food and my GTR back on song and it was a very happy day indeed :thumb:

PS~ The splitter is still on and intact so a few of you have lost the bet ;)

The suspension was simply amazing Stuart - it's now on my wish list - most definitely!. Your GTR handles amazingly now, and to be able to set it on the fly, even better. :thumb:

Were you pleased with the new brakes, forgot to ask? ... they do look pretty hardcore now.

Shame my car is now playing up - so I might have to give sunday a miss unless I can sort it by then - hopefully only need to replace the plugs with my spare set - when I manage to get them back :)

I like to keep quiet while in the car Stu as i know how distracting it can be having someone natter to you while on the track.

A great experience with a good driver in a top car.
Cheers.

Yeh, fantastic driving chief, I remember the first time we hit the top bends, I was thinking to myself well I certainly wouldn't be going this fast, however quite quickly I realised what amazing handling the car now has.

Great write up Andy - it is amazing the things that we put ourselves through prior to an event. glad it all got put back together and fun was had on track :D

Stu - superb driving and great fun. Did wish that I took mine out today but then it is only next saturday that I go out for a little play there to see the difference from feb in mine. It is so good to see a smile on your face after the frustration of cadwell. 8)
