It is really stunning mate.

The only thing that he might want to change is the clutch because its a bit on/off. Maybe his 14a one will fit?

A great day @ Dr Haywards

I am grateful to Dan for the lift, to APT for the hospitality and to the assembled cast of BP guys for coming along :) The get together was a terrific demonstration of the differences in cars that the forum has right now, but the shift towards more sedate cars was really noticeable. A bunch of nice Evo's were already in attendance thanks to Gary and Danny seemingly looking after every road, race and sprint Evo they can squeeze into the plush unit at Shepherds Park. Out of the guys that turned up, we had everything from a mk2 and mk4 Golf, T4 Volvo estate, Old school Camaro, FD3 RX7, a tasty Evo V in all black and Dan's trusty Pajero amongst many others. (There was a lovely M3 that turned up but I didn't suss out who owned it; excuse my manners)

It was a really relaxed day with plenty of banter and some good ideas for the future. The topic of a jointly owned and run 'track' or drift car came up again, as a cheap way of still getting involved but also to get people out of their houses and doldrums in some cases!

We'll see what happens, but the meet itself was great and a real reminder of how fortunate we are to still have the club/forum to organise these things. July 2006 we started up, and just over 6 years later we are just about hanging on :)

Onwards and upwards for the future. We need to adapt a bit, but with the enthusiasm I saw yesterday, we can prosper as a club and continue enjoying our cars, fast driving and the inevitable banter that naturally follows :cheers2:
