I ache from head to toe so will make this brief and post up a write up tomorrow.

The day was up-to the usual standard of opentrack (Thanks Dave) weather surprisingly good Due to the Mike B weather centre. the overall standard of driving was really good very few stoppages and the track as exciting as ever.

Big Power were well represented and I think everyone had an excellent TD.

A bit more to follow tomorrow

Another brilliant opentrack day today - Thank you Dave!:cheers2:
It started out at 6am with Harry comming round and us heading off up the A17 to cadwell. Fortunatly its only about an hour and fifteen for us, so we were there by 7.15 and almost first in the paddock (why cant we do that at snetterton and get a garage?) Then Mike b, Datsun des, M j p, Philwright63 and Arron were all present very soon after.
For me the sighting laps were a doddle and passed without incident.
I then had one hole lap before ol yella spat an intercooler hose, so a return to the paddack and the hose re-conneted i tried again....Two laps this time before said hose was spat off again! So an extra jubilee clip was used and with much thanks to Mike a selection of Harrys cable ties were used to hold the intercooler pipes in place.
Third attempt and i had M j p`s son as a passenger and thankfuly this time out it was fine and i was able to push on a little bit and try and learn how the car goes and handles now.
The next time out it had just rained but all was fine! Then the brakes went to crap after that on the next little run.
The finnal run was supurb! i was first out closely followed by Harry and mike. I had made up my mind that this time it was do or die! I had mike behind in the stunning golf and was determined that i was going to try and pull some ground on him? (i think it worked?) The old car realy has so much more grip now with the rear arb fitted. After several nice laps i was then thinking its time to cool down and head in, But then i could nt belive it when i saw harry in the distance ahead. So it was at this point i thought - fuck it ive got to catch him up and try and get past him! Although its Harry thats having the last laugh! After i had got passed him it was mission acomplished and i had a cool down lap and returned to the paddock, As i pulled up beside my trailer she stared to make a rattly noise like a loose heat shield? But with a little investigation it seems the noise is comming from the turbo? This and the fact that ive now lost boost and coupled with several people telling me that the old gal had been puffing heavy smoke on the over run out on track leads me to think ive blown my turbo!:( Worth it for the grin factor anyway!:D
I must say a massive thank you to Phil for the passenger laps in the BMW! Brilliantly paddaled and very well track set it was an awesome experience hanging off the back of a radical for several laps! I would love to see Phil and Jason fletcher out on track together im sure that would be quite a battle to watch? Anyhow good luck Phil with the ards test!
Harry`s car did nt miss a beat all day as normal and i sure harry had great day as i know he aches lots (always a sign of a good days play!:D)
I think Datsun des had a good days play? His car seems realy at home at cadwell.
So to sum up i had a super day, The weather was much better than expected and the general driving standard seemed very good except for maybe a couple of people not wanting to pull over and let faster cars through? But due to a broken car again and being shown how bloody good an E36 can be, i am seriously questioning my choice of track tool.
