That's got to be the one to be in then. Regardless of class size, if there's enough of us with MX5s, it would be a good laugh and very close on times, or should be.

Good to see a few of you out at my local 'track'. Shame Gerry's new machine didn't make it - glad to see from the early sign off pictures you've bought one for each foot. As a former Caterham owner/racer I know you are about to enter a whole new world of cold and damp... and trailers.

4wd class was a waste of time - no offence Logan et al but 3 entries... Great result for Jim in the TR8 splitting the GT3 Porsches to take third. In fact, something like that rumbling beast would be the only machine that would persuade me to return. That and the gorgeous McLaren M1B...

MX5s sound good especially if many were shared.

LOL Sorry I missed you Kim. The 'machine' would have made it no problem, just the poofy driver that doesn't like getting wet. I need to get a hood, and/or trailer very soon.

Good to see your endorsement for an MX5 challenge. Tempted?

No offence taken Kim, you know my feelings.

Trouble with the Mx-5's are they are not competitive in that class, thats my only concern.

The whole idea of MX5s is that the competition is amongst ourselves. No need to then spend silly money in trying to win classes. How much have we all spent trying to win a two-bob pot? The real challenge would be to beat you, Mike B and Trev in a very similar, unmodified car. It's a no brainer from where I stand.

We might be able to have our own class if we get enough entries like the lotus elises or the tvr's .
