"Show me what you've got"
Was this in the paddock or on the track? ;)

An instructor must be insane to say that to someone in the last half an hour on a track day. Glad you made it memorable for him :)

After tuition though i was sooo much smoother wish i had had that at the begining of the day but hey ho lesson learnt.

Just shows you when you think your doing ok some tuition always brings you back down to earth .

non of this silly wheel spin etc , its amazing a few mins with them and you have found an extra 5-7mph through some corners . . . . hero's

As Andy said, we had a great tussle near the end of the day, I really enjoyed that as our cars seem well matched:driving: He had a bit more power on the straights but I had a little more grip through the corners so it balanced out quite well.

Roll on Brands Hatch:coolgleamA:
Was great fun! Good pic by Dave here Image

I guess the scoob was running about 330bhp on the day, as I had to pull the boost down due to a bit of det in the morning (a map check is in order...). Along the start-finish straight I couldn't catch you but I think that was down to you getting better drive out of Barn. You make that 200SX go very well indeed, and I'd love a pax ride next time out.

Hadn't planned on Brands, but maybe I should make the effort!

cheers

Absolutely! Looked really nimble through the woodland section in particular, and that was whilst still damp in the afternoon, on Yoko 048s. Maybe my next car should be a Metro!

That's a good pic

You should definitely book in for brands hatch, and of course you're welcome to a ride in the Nissan.

I'll second your comments about the mighty metro, no wonder he does so well at the autotests!

well what a cracking day on thursday .
had a lot of laughs , good to see everyone again , quite a mix of motors there as well , made a change .
cadwell is just an awesome , awesome, awesome , track , i was quite slow and steady all day , first time there and all , didnt want to bin it , eh sas , .
overall a very enjoyable day , cheers to russ for the bacon sarnies at 0630 , and eddie for the loan of a spanner , had a little oil leak in the morn , .
very greasy in the morning but nice and dry in the afternoon .
no real dramas to speak of , oohh , nearly forgot , apart from sasmans little excursion at hall bends !
cant wait to go back , .
opentrack guys were really good , well run day not too many stoppages .
only critisicsm of the day was about hte paddock . the lower paddock was full so had to park on the upper one , and going out on a track that i didnt know very well with mud caked tyres was not confidence boosting . i really feel that is an area that needs addressing or at least covering in tarmac
here are some pics and video from the day .
more to follow .
