Interesting stuff....The 4WD class is just silly, as said before, the GT3 RS is a rapid cart and in the right hands should whoop the Japboxes, especailly on the proper circuits that are higher speed.

If you start splitting classes where do you stop, an Evo class, a Scooby class, a TVR class???

As I said to Brian, if he wants to win so badly why doesn't he go buy a new GTR to try that, see if he fairs any better??? Not like he can't do it for any reason!

Had a Sevenoaks Speed League meeting wednesday last week it's confirmed that in 2009 B3 will be split into 4WD & 2WD.....Having had a good season this year & gone well in the Sevenoaks Speed League, however it's looking pretty bleak for points next year. Based on last years results i'll predominantly be playing bridesmaid with any other non-Evo's whilst Kim & Logan fight over the pot. It will probably cause grief for Kim & Logan in their championships; being in a class of 3 or 4 entries as it's likely to reduce the points scoring oppertunities too. I expect after 2 or 3 years of this new rule, we will all have been forced into D8 or sold up & gone 2WD. (end of rant).

Get yourselves into D8 and beat them at their own game.

Just written a mail to AEMC dude with my thoughts.

For me anyway, if its split and the entries are below 6 for the 4WD its pointless, as the championship is a non starter, as for going into D8, then thats more cash for people as you need sticky tyres and a rollcage.

If you're not fussed by championship then this won't matter but then surely taking the competiveness out of the cahmpionship is kinda going backwards seeing as its meat to be a competive championship??

After reading all your comments on classes in sprinting the class me and gerry run in D8,it is always a nightmere because there is no point us going for a over all championship as we never get over 4 cars on a good day.so we have no patten to our entrys and no real reason to push.as for costs to compete engine alone
