Hi Andy,

Abingdon and Lydden - are those really on the Saturday, or should that be 8th and 15th (Sunday)?
Is Curborough is 7/9, ie September not August?

Dates are listed the same on the clubracer site.

cheers
Andy

Andy, you can download regs for Curborough, and others, here:

Lydden and the Abingdon sprints are usually Saturdays.

Hi Guys

Quick question, class D seems to be where I would fit into this, what exactly is and in not allowed in this class? It seems a little vague on the links.

I have a set of bucket seats with harnesses but no rear seats or rear trim. I have a Apexi PFC and larger injectors, are these allowed?

Sorry for the newb questions, just trying to work out where I fit in! :-D

Cheers!

Basically in D8 you require a MSA approved rollcage. All mods are pretty much allowed then and you can run on sticky tyres.

If you don't have a ccage and a very good spec then I would put back in your rear trim and use road tyres and go in class B3 where you can have different front seats but must have a full interior. And the car silloette must be as standard from wheel centre upwards, so no bit carbon wings etc or wide arch kits.

Hope this helps.

Hmmmm, so does that mean R888's allowed in B3?

What class are you in mate? Do you have a cage?

Cheers!

888's are not allowed in b3 they need to be the non track orientated type like toyo tir's or eagle f1's for example , all the details are in the blue book you get when you recieve your national B license a cage is not required in class B3 as logan has said but obviously you can still have one as long as you keep the rear seats
if you havent a big hp car then i would say avoid d8 as it looks a bit serious in there now

welcome to Bp btw
Small one's are more juicy

What TK said, the tyres allowed in the B class are 1A list tyres in the Blue book.

Myself and Tk both run in class B3. Most cars in there are either standardish or mildly modified, its one of the most competitive classes out there and with your spec if you can peddle a bit then you should fit in nicely.

Class D8, where you need a cage and then can run on 1B tyres (R888's etc) to be competitive you'll need to be spending some cash as the chap pretty much always wins has a 450bhp wide arch 22Besk Impreza fully Sprint prepped with only 1 seat, loads of weight saving etc.

All you need for the MSA Sprints really is a Hlemet and overalls to the relevent standards and a timing strut (beam breaker) otherwise if your cars legal for the class you want to enter you good to go :!:

if your local to any of the upcoming event, keep and eye out then by all means let us know and you can pop along and watch and see what happens if you like.
