To add to what Stu has said, a superb night, so thank you to all who took part

Thank you also to those who were able to take out some passengers on my behalf, much appreciated, jason, conrad went home feeling very sick for some reason :) .... I really enjoyed my time out on track but also really enjoy trying to get people out who have never had the fortune to have a few quick laps in a 'track' car .. Jame's loved his few laps Stu! - think the same can be said for Bryan ... :).

It's a shame about the overly insensitive driving, but I think enough has been said about that and we won't see a repeat of that on a Bigpower track evening.

I unfortunately didn't get as much footage as I liked - Gareth remember the lens cap next time ... muppet :)

So if anyone has HD footage that came out clearly could you mail it to me murano3@yahoo.co.uk - or if it's really big could you post me a copy of it .. I'll pay for the disk and the postage - that would be awesome.

So thanks again everyone for being part of Bigpower.

*cough* and me too
I managed it, just, but then I'm 70bhp up on Suz  I tried her line through Russels once but the rumble-strip was so violent it knocked the gearbox out of third LOL. Still having trouble with coolant temps, but then again nothing had been changed since the last track session, though I've a few ideas that may bring a solution so I don't have to drive around with the heater on full blast and the windows open constantly.

All in all, a very enjoyable night- though I doubt there was anyone not dismayed to see Gary's car towed off-circuit once again, fingers-crossed it's not done any damage.

Thanks to Nik for loan of a spare helmet, and special thanks to Christian for parking his minty-mint RS next to mine and showing-up how tatty mine is, you git

:-D
Finishing off the Ford ;)

Many thanks to Stu and every one else who helped organise the event. Had a great time, had some good tussles and made some new friends. All in all, a brilliant evening. Hope i'm home for the next one, will have to get some track tyres.
Cheers once again.

I might have had a few sideways moments going onto the straights. The car suprised me bvy how controllable it was on track, but that rear end is a little lively.

Can i get big copies of the ones of my car on track plese? Esp this one:

I love that car :smt060

Is anyone sitting at home/work at the moment in a slightly blissed out trance, wishing they were back at the track now? I can't concentrate on the document I'm supposed to be writing............utter jibberish!

I thought the sessions worked well last night, having previously being an advocate of open pit lane stuff. I'd be interested to hear the thoughts of others though.......

I'll start a new thread

jonv wrote:All I can say in our defence was we where driving in the advanced group with very skilled drivers, who could accept a bit of `spirited` driving. This does not excuse any under taking! Personally I had only one incident of undertaking where a BMW had completely left the track on the left and as as I went passed, he re-joined when I was already alongside, as one of the photos shows, but apart from braking hard I had no option but to pass.
I was in the bmw off the track and had no issues with you passing me at that point as you said I was recovering back on track and trying to keep off line / out of the way to build my speed back up.

However I know I don't have the quickest car out there and for that reason I'm aware that I should move out of the way for the quick cars but as I was going to move over on the pit straight I had a blue Escort undertake me at the same time I had Stu in Betty overtaking me in my view that was just madness on a track night which is supposed to be a bit of fun!!!

Sorry if I got in anyones way but I was enjoying myself :-D :-D
