I did it last year and didn't have any issues with stone damage. However, bear in mind the surface is pretty abrasive in the dry and can be very damaging to the tyres.

stone chips are a part of marham .
if you dont drive up peoples arses you should be ok .
but saying that i have had stone chips every year and i have done this event for the last 3 years , twice a year .
you need to leave a decent gap to the car in front , but mainly flying stones arent too bad just on the main runway where the speeds are at their highest .
