Trev, if you call the MSA they can sometimes fax over a confirmation of the licence to allow you to compete.

You can check licence progress on their website.

I was just looking to see where to post the progress report, or lack of.

The guy who's workshop I was promised sent a text yesterday, after me trying to call him a dozen times during the day to confirm. He said there's another car on the ramp till Monday and I can have it after that  So bollox! I'm on the drive doing it on my own in the pissing rain so I can get it to Scoobymania on Monday.

I'm hoping Scoobymania or Area 52 will restore my faith in people by getting the engine finished and back to me for Easter w/e. That just fits in their estimated timescale of 7 - 10 working days.

I also took the camera out to take some pics of the job for a project thread. As I came in for a cuppa, I noticed it, inside the open boot, soaking wet so, that could be fecked too.

Now I'm peed off with Subaru but it's not the cars fault  :D

Oh dear, not good news Gerry :!:

Hope it all goes okay. I think we should start up a Subaru hate club, bet there would be plenty of people who would join :!:

and i think you start a new project thread

In for another rain/tea break :)

I don't hate the car, far from it. It's just the whole episode. The gasket showed signs of going in October so could have been sorted long ago.

Few bolts from underneath, grovelling in the gravel and it's ready to come out, 8)
