Great stuff everyone! I'll look out for your entry, Stuart.

Michael, 109dB wow thats pretty loud! Having said that, only 1dB, I'm sure there'd be a way of getting that under the limit that doesn't involving shoving a spare sock up your exhaust :D (You may think I'm joking but I'm pretty sure one of our members who marginally failed a noise test once resorted to that - they passed the retest as well!)

Being our inaugral year, I'm sure there will be quite a few people who will do just a few of the events, rather than all of them - be great to see people out!

Would it have to be brought under the limit permamently for the event, or just for the test? :D

Only problem is its probably going to be louder soon, its in having a few tweaks at the moment...

Will wait and see how that goes and when its finished, but am definatley interested in this event :)

Scooby WRX STI Type RA Version 5 Limited WRC 555 Edition 843/1000
Very nice! Picked up no. 360/1000 late last year. It had an... ermm.. interesting array of mods when I picked it up. It is currently in bits, but will be going back together later this year (cheers Andy  ) with a more - shall we say - compatible set of mods :D

Please note - for those who do not presently hold a competition licence, this is the most important thing to get sorted. If you plan to do both the North Weald date (22nd April) and the Bentwaters date (6th May) the cheapest option available to you (!) is to get your competition licence application to the MSA by the end of this week - otherwise you may not have it in time for the first event.

You can, if you wish, apply for the competition licence at the first event - make sure you fill out and bring the form with you - but the 3 week turnaround still applies, and you won't have it in time for the 6th May unless you pay the express handling fee, which is a bit of a rip (more than doubles the price of the licence!)

The competition licence application form is can be downloaded here (also linked on clubracer.co.uk), you will need a passport photo, personal details and doctors details. You will need to sign a medical declaration (but should not need a medical examination). The licence you need to apply for from the big list is under "speed", "Non-Race National B", should be

Excellent, top cars, I love mine :D

Right, just filling out the MSA form, do I have to get it all signed off by my doctor then :?: or is that part of the form exempt for the national B licence??
