At about 3pm yesterday I was talking to Tom on the Flux stand and I counted 68 people waiting for the classic rides........

Chris your car looked great out on track and was spitting flames which always looks cool......sorry didn't get a chance to come over and say Hi..... I know it can get a bit busy !

Thanks John. I was flat out in the afternoon. I think the flames and sound of the rotary attracted a big crowd! It was great to see people enjoying the rides.

Did anyone manage to get any snaps of the 100 circuit? Especially the flames lol! :D

The only time I went over to the 100 circuit was at lunchtime to see the trucks as they went out. If I'd realised there were cars like yours doing laps I would have come across and taken some photos :frown:

This is a little disapointing:

Charity Race Experience Day Snetterton

CAR CLUBS - Unfortunately, the trophy never got handed out in a blaze of glory due to no one handing any club donations. So next year it'll be a roll over.....(well same trophy just a new date etched)

Waiting to hear how much was raised on the day (around

A superb day you should pat yourself on the back for the organisation and securing an excellent position and display Stuart.

Good to see so many BP members supporting the club lets hope that we can carry the enthusiasm through to some club events in 2013.

I am sure that the day was a success for the charity and that the day becomes a permanent fixture on the calendar

Thank you Harry. For a first event it turned out well, but I couldn't have achieved anything without the support from the guys that turned up :)

I was talking to my Brother earlier on and said that the same; it would be nice to be able to have this on the calendar for November, and maybe get the Auto-test at Marham again if the Richard Burns event happens again.

We'll see. Lots can happen in that space of time.

[quote="Stuart"]Yeah, I read that and though the same in terms of disappointment about no car club prize.

It was an awesome day which was only made better by the support of the guys on our stand including the "Team Extreme" Guys. Thanks fellas for the support and an amazing display of cars (and of course the lorry :) )

The track action was great although I didn't get to see much of it as I was on the stand most of the day but well done to those who took part.

Dans truck certainly did get some very funny reactions from the public but I think the funniest moments were when Phil fired up the Mustang and half the people around our stand jumped out of their skin, including half of the "Team Extreme" guys :D The initial "boom" as it starts up is astonishingly load and the sound of it on tickover alone was almost enough to make me have a "crisis" ;)

The sound of Marks beastie was also amazing although it seamed tamer than the Mustang initially, once Mark blipped the throttle and you heard the charger whining away it was something to behold.

By only mentioning these two, I take nothing away from the other cars there but they were just some of the highlights for me.

I must also say how impressed I was with the publics reaction to the attitude of the "Team Extreme" guys. As we all know, some people who have spent so much time, money and effort creating such awesome machines can be very "snooty" for want of a better word but these guys couldn't be more different. I doth my cap to you all gentlemen :) There was many a smiling face around the stand when you were chatting to people about the cars and answering their questions with what I must say, was some of the most down to earth ways that I have seen at such events. Just an observation, I shall stop babbling now :D

Anyway. well done one and all on a great event but mostly a big thanks to our fearless leader Stuart for his continued efforts and organisation. Top one Obi Wan

I have just read my previous post again and I sounded like I was only impressed with "Team Extreme"

I was of course very impressed with all our guys as always. Without you all the club stand would have not been plausible/possible so well done all. :)
