Always used to wheelie a bike over the mountain ... but I need a bit more speed in the scoob to lift the front :-D
James - tell us more, the trailer incident sounds like it could have been horrendous.

Trailer incident
So, in a bit more detail. We had the car attached from each wheel via tiedowns to the front and the back of the trailer. Basically, where we were attached at the front was to an addition, that wasn't welded as tightly as it looked. Going across a roundabout, there was a bit of a lurch and that bit obviously snapped off, giving the car a chance to slide - the other 2 tiedowns had no chance - snapped clean through. The car rear end fell off the trailer, then grounded out. I slowed down and kept going off the roundabout. We pulled in 20 metres up the road, and basically had to :
1) Reverse the E30 (scraping the sills, but who cars) back until the front wheels were nearly off. This was scary, because it left a LOT of weight on the tow hitch, and I was waiting for that to pop free and the whole thing embed itself in the boot of our tow car.
2) Quickly get the ramps underneath.
3) Back it off the trailer
I did this and we paused for a breath of air. We then found that the light board extension lead had been snapped in the middle - not surprising, really. So, we attached the lightboard directly to the trailer and I drove the car and trailer home.
Legal issues prevent me discussing exactly how the E30 got home, as it is not road legal. But we were only 20 miles from home at that point, down mainly B roads in the middle of the fens.
