No it wasn`t from the M3 Simon, there was sh*t loads of it, infact, I thought it was water!?
As someone has suggested, I guess it was a diesal overfill!
Simon, I may have a 3.0l engine for sale shortly if you are interested? I know its not a 3.2 but it is a straight forward swap, and you will be back on the road in no time!
A big thank you to all of the guys last night, I had a great time, with some good clean laps, when is the next one?
Track night at Snetterton September 10th ADVANCED ONLY!!

Well,
It looked like everyone was having lots of fun - except me of course, as that would be too much to hope for !!! Gutted for Simon as myself and Stu were right behind him when it let go in quite spectacular fasion, one second there was Simon who I was following and Stu came alongside me and passed and then there was just smoke, no Stu, no Simon, and no track !!! Glad I couldnt go at full speed as god knows if I'd have made the esses on the oil !!!
The Orange continued its run of form, although for the second event in a row it was at least still running/in one piece at the end of the day. Just gutted that dying coilpacks and dirty plugs (which were 30 minutes old !!) meant it only ran on three - for the first time in its life - for the tracknight that Pete had kindly given up his day off for to prep the car for me with grip settings and swapping of tyres etc.
Massive thanks to Pete, Mick, Dan and Jamie for all mucking in as well as Curtis and Kenny for tool hunting !! just so I could teeter out on track for another 6 laps of half power nothingness at which point I just wanted to set fire to the car AGAIN !!! We finally found a solution as they dropped the chequered flag to end the session - feckin gutted !! Im determined to get that orange piece of sh1t to do something other than go wrong this year so Im booked on the 22nd at Snett to see if we can acheive at least a moderate target - say 25 laps at full power would be a start !! Which would double my seat time for the whole year !!
Well done to the BP crew for another well run event, shame so many people let them down at the last minute, but I guess that is sometimes typical of cars at the end of the season.
