Stu, I dont think I will be coming in the Rex. I was prepping the car today and on my to do list was retorquing the turbo to manifold bolts now they have had a few heat cycles and I ended up shearing one. Balls. I am guessing is a no no driving it when I have only got 3 bolts versus 4 holding the turbo down?

I am getting stuff ready for the Mrs 30th today and I will try and see if I can get the old bolt out but I strongly suspect I wont have time.

I will still be coming though...just in a diesel...ooo the shame....

UPDATE********************
I managed to get to the race circuit today (3pm til 5pm) and arranged where we will be going with the organisers; better late than never :)

See this map and pay attention to description below the picture
Image
As you can see there is a large arrow pointing towards a rectangle, the rectangle being our stand.

When you drive into the circuit go up and over the bridge and bear right towards the paddock and go over the single speed hump. Instead of turning left into the paddock, go straight on towards the restaurant and you will see our stand immediately on the left hand side next to a large tyre stack. For reference we are dead opposite the workshop units that Snett have for their maintenance.

I will be there from 7am so call me on 07775 856131. I won't be able to leave the stand until everyone is in, so please don't call me and ask me to come to the gate in any circumstances :D :D

See you in the morning guys

Anyone travelling from Ely way want to convoy in? I will be leaving 6 to arrive for 7.

Looking forward to this one, see y'all in the morning.

Oh, does anyone know of a jetwash near snett? The farmers have made a right mess of the roads round here and I think my clean car will be covered by the time I get to the A11!

There is a strong possibility of ice in the morning Tony so I would just 'come as you are' to quote Nirvana and sort it out when you get to the track with a hose-pipe and or watering can. Each pair of garages has a tap so you'll just need an adaptor if you want to use a hose (No guarantees but I may bring some valeting stuff with me in the morning)

It appears that Eddy may be able to sort out the stickers for tomorrow after all. They will be about

See you all in the morning. The Pug will have to stay dirty as 1. It's been shitty here today 2. I've had my son today so didn't have time to clean it or get it cleaned :blush5: 3. My neck is playing up again  4. I've got no love for the car as it's to slow and I can't afford to mod it

Don't stress Tony :) Your car won't be the only one there that is a bit dirty (You just wait ;) ) As for it being 'slow' it's all relative and I bet it's quicker than a Vito :D
