How was it today ........... just curious as James mentioned a few posts ago we ran about 75 cars back in May however we stopped taking bookings at that point, the longest cue was just over 2 minutes. How was it today ?

What a fantastic day! Due to the large bp turnout, i kept forgetting that this was`nt an actual bp event! Thank you Harry for providing the car for the day, it ran like a dream all day! As always it was good to put more names to faces. For the volume of cars that were there things ran so smoothly it was great. Thanks Trev for the pax laps, that little pulsar sure does pack a punch!:coolgleamA: And finaly -Jason! I`m far to tired to put it into words properly- But your cars awesome!! So well sorted and driven, I actualy felt quite relaxed in the passenger seat, Which seemed wrong in some ways as we were taking corners at speeds the scoob could never do! So thanks bud that brilliant!:hurray:

I was only there for a couple of hours, but it ran like clockwork. The Longest i waited in the pitlane was about 30 seconds. I was expecting all kinds of horrors upon hearing there was 100 drivers attending, But it was very well organised :)

Bloody hell good going ! to be honest i was at work today thinking sh*t as it was poring down, and a boat would have been better than a car.

had a great day and was very suprised at how smoothly it ran considering the numbers, track did get a little congested at times but all in all pretty good, and awareness of drivers was also generaly good i thought,
my seat time was reduced by double driving my car and boiling brake fluid, and my mate had a blast in my car and his first trackday.
good to see the usual faces and roll on 2010's events :)

I was there with a couple of guys from work as my passengers, and had a great day :) A 'small' off at the bombhole early on was quite interesting in a 5p/50p kind of way ;) Quote from my passenger "I think I was sick in my mouth a little bit" :D

I was very impressed with the detail of the briefing and the general organisation, and once the track dried a bit there weren't many stoppages at all considering the number of cars involved. Managed about 60 laps in between my mate's ciggie breaks...

The car ran as nicely as ever, but I've been researching Edelbrock turbo conversion kits so perhaps I do need more power!

Best value event for ages (apart from the BP evening events of course :))

Cheers,
Alex

Good to hear that there were no hold ups and the day ran well for everyone.

Dave - I mentioned that on quite a few of the larger open pit lane days with a very large number of bookings there have had significant hold ups in the pit lane with customers waiting. I mentioned this as a heads to all the guys on here so people could be prepared, I did make the point also that your days are the few exceptions that have worked spot on ;), and i'm pleased to hear that the same happened today for F/E.

End of day reports are pleasing anyway with no major incidents which is always a plus. Glad all had fun. Shame i wasn't there today but have been so unwell recently. :(
