What a superb night !!!! Plenty of cars out on the track, looked like Gran Turismo at one point !!!

Big thanks to
Ben, couldnt stop laughing at the sideways moments and what a different car with the new suspension. And swallowing all your exhaust fumes and flames on the way home lol.

Dunk, the car is completely transformed since the last time I went in it. Amazing power and suspension setup.

Jaydee (white RX), that was an absolutely monster car. Scarily quick, still grinning like an idiot from the passenger laps !!!!!

Sorry to hear about the problems with the BMs, hope it doesnt take you guys long to fix.
A superb night and the weather held out brilliantly !!!

Not sure if Dunc is referring to the track or the slip road in his post earlier. From the roundabout, around the "hairpin" onto the A11 was a 2ft wide strip of oil/diesel. I noticed it just to late so I managed to get only a little wobble on. I don't think Matt saw it at all as he was following me and got a proper tank slapper going :o

What a fantastic night!!

Thanks to all at Bigpower for organising it :thumb:

I really enjoyed the open pitlane format and got plenty of quality time on track. I used a whole tank of fuel - so 40 miles there and back, and 55 miles on track equals

I noticed a strip of oil coming out of the circuit entrance - was that one of our guys that left that ? (anyone blow up on the way home ?)

I went south though.

The oil on the track was scarey as fook though coming up to where the BMW was and I got a nasty wobble on there under braking and only just made the turn into the esses - I know Max1 had to dive down the escape road just behind me. :o

If it all came out of car it would'nt have got far :o Pretty sure Mick Rainbird? in the Escort Cosworth was just in front, but we nearly caught upto him at the A47 roundabout so he must have been okay. Looked more like an overspilling diesel tank with the amount that was there.

interesting, there was no oil there when I left - hope it's not from my car :).

I would to re-iterate what Gerry has said, fantastic driving and proper gentleman drivers - never had an issue with anyone, people definitely were watching mirrors - an all round perfect drive.

I will not want to do a 'busy' track day again .. as the enjoyment when the track is quiet is ... well spot on.

Im not sure if there was actually any oil left in ours but it may have come from the M3??? Though it looked like it turned off at the roundabout, where Richard would have gone straight on.
