Road Magazine & Opentrack 2009

Post by TrackMarques »

Hi folks,
Thanks SO much for all your support of our Opentrack events in 2008.
It was really great to see, and meet, so many BP faces and mean metal up at Snetts on Saturday, in the glorious winter sunshine, and natter over a mince pie and mulled 'wine' or two.

Well done to all of you for keeping it real in the slippery conditions... and for the hilarious amount of spins!
It certainly looked and sounded like you all had fun... which is our aim... giving you guys the sort of track days we want: Efficient but relaxed, with good camaraderie and LOTS of open pit lane track time, at a decent price, with plenty of freebies thrown in for good measure.

We will have a report in http://www.roadmagazine.co.uk

Bit of late input from me - I don't get onto the forum too much

But to re-iterate what everyone else has a said it was definately a great day. Well organised, good driving and good variety of cars. Even the mix of "dancing on ice" in the morning and dry in the afternoon couldn't have been better for the last track day of 2008 as it allowed everyone to have a good play.

And I have to say that during our little tear up, seeing Stu go from a fag paper off my bumper to a fag paper from the armco in a matter of seconds is one of the funniest moments of the 2008 season.

looking forward to next year already
