I think it's not coincidence that the quickest drivers I know also happen to be the smoothest (in no particular order Logan, Mike Blackmore, Kim Adams and Simon McGee) Sideways can be quick, just look at Gerry Marshall, but I don't have the skill, finesse or overall car control to slide and maintain speed.

at Sprints/Hillclimbs the clock tells the story, also doesn't matter what fancy bits you've got, how much yotu've spent....its the driver as much as the machine!
