So, I reckon you got quicker this year, as last year you crashed and had less power!

You boys really should be beating us B3 lads tho!!!

You and Kim have proved it's not just down to power. I reckon I'd pee all over both of you on a 1/4 mile run.

From watching the way your Evos recovered from some very twitchy moments, through that complex of turns by the clubhouse yesterday, it's far more down to the handling capability. I know I keep on about tricky diffs but there's something inherent in the Evo that the Scooby lacks. Get your RA fixed and do a couple of sprints in that and we'll see how well you do.

I'm sure you would, but that's boring :!:

I think the Evo is less twitchy than the Impreza so inspires more confidence, well it does feel that way for me anyway. I have Sprinted the Impreza and it was also on the pace, I won Bentwaters last year in it and also was pretty much on the tail of Mr Adams at a couple of other ones as well.

What we should do is swap at a sprint, usual rules apply etc

It wasn't suggested to prove anything other than the straight line differences.

Get your arse in gear and book the Cadwell day. Then we can follow each other and see the relative handling differences.

Then again, if you throw Mike Blackmore into the mix, it's a whole different story. :?

I think I'll stop worrying about it

You are quicker in the Evo mate. We were about honours even last year but I havent been able to get near you in the 6 despite having an extra 70hp. As Gerry says , alot of it is in the diffs. The difference between the blue wagon (Quaife ATB) and red wagon (stock) is astonishing.

I think I probably am, but I have driven this car more in the last 5 months of having it than I did in the Impreza in 2 yrs :o So I am sure that helps as well!

No doubt the diffs help, as said before the car seems more benign than the Impreza, less edgy on the edge and over the edge of grip.
