Is that event full Gerry?

Did you manage to break a 6 speeder, or did I dream that you had one?

Poss breaking news:

Have been working my brothers' (Sprint Chief) contacts in the RAF MSA and they are running a very competitively priced sprint challenge at Barkston Heath nr Grantham (where Javelin do the drift days).

The head honcho is out until Monday but I understand we may get accepted for entry as associate members. I'll let you know the fine details when I do but though tthe first date was interesting as we lost the June JISC due to the closure of Longcross.

I don't think so, not this year, might be the possibility of a tie up next year, but only Spence could answer that one.

Thought it was worth a mention as everyone seemed to get hooked so fast that the main problem was insufficient events :)

The June one would have been great but my daughter has a triathlon that day so cant make it.

July is a little too crowded event wise for me building up to Time Attack

Sep, Oct and Nov look perfect :D

Cool. I'm going to jump on board all of them (calendar permitting) if we get the green light.

Need a favour from all the JISC guys: If you havent sent Spence the JISC membership form yet, can you PM me your snial mail address as we have an operational list for posting regs out as soon as they appear. Or better still, just send the from! I don't think he has your address dunc, and same applies to onlyady and Ren.

Hi Andy, the event was full when I went on the reserve list, a couple of weeks ago but a phone call Sat night told me I'm now in.

http://www.abingdoncarnival.com/html/entries.html has entry form, regs etc and contact. Pam Guess is the person. Worth a try :-D

G/box is/was a type R DCCD. Was offered a UK 6 speeder but have decided to go for a PPG gear set and more sensible ratios. Hopefully it'll be done before Abingdon.

BTW a little bird tells me someone is purchasing a set of wheels and re 070s

Might be a bridge too far for me that one if the RAF ones come about.

Agh- you managed to break the toughest OEM 5 speeder. The PPG set is the way forward but comes at a price :(

I've PM'd about the wheels but no response, hope they havent already gone as need a set. If anyone knows anyone etc!

Dunc, thanks for the PM, thats fine, no further action required.

Nice to see this thread's come to life again. I'm in the middle of sorting two huge piles of paperwork on my desk atm., main reason is to sort out sprint regs to get some entries in, now I've decided to continue with the Scoob.

Are these dates for real as I don't want to double book? I'm interested in doing Silverstone and Debden in July.
