I spent 3 months there this year and 5 months last year,based at Gardermoen International Airport....which has a drag strip on the edge of the airport!....just round the corner from where I was working!
Vast majority that I saw was American Muscle cars,lots of old Mustangs and Corvettes...but they have some pretty quick Volvos too!!
One of the Norwegian squaddies I worked with has an MR2 Turbo running about 300bhp,went quite well on the strip (I smuggled some parts over for him....they have to pay huge import duties,saved him half price
)Would be great to do some track days there,very friendly guys...and even friendlier girls
