As i have not been using the Fronty recently i completly forgot about the mot so we decided with a plan just to drive the car down. We took a spare rear diff with us just in case we fubar'd ours on the launch....
We drove all the cars back with no breakages:D
1st run
A decent launch with a bit too much wheelspin then Alan just couldn't get 2nd gear. (Using a spare gearbox), slightly different internals.
2nd run
Too much wheelspin this time in 1st and 2nd, then when he changed into 3rd the car seemed to drop off boost.
Back on the stand Wayne checked all the boost pipes and everything seemed ok, so Alan went again.
3rd run
Basically the same as the 2nd run. When he changed into 3rd it dropped off boost then as the revs climbed the boost came back and the car went.
Alan then pointed something out, we were running the wrong map. We had the map changed before Snetterton last year to be more progressive to suit Alans driving.
So as Alan got wheelspin in 2nd and changed up to 3rd the revs dropped and so did the boost:banghead:
You live and learn, at least Wayne got to have 3 passenger runs which he seemed to enjoy.
I did suggest that we swopped the tyres over and put the 888's on for his last run but Alan pointed out that only ever does 3 runs and didn't want to tempt fate.
Shit times but at least nothing broke and we had a laugh which was the main thing for today:)

There won't be many occasions where you'll experience full bore launch style vehicle dynamics on a race track under normal circuit driving though Pablo. Are you trying to get rid of front end lift on hard acceleration on the corner exit? If so, wouldn't a different ARB provide a better solution? (Flatter at exit therefore both tyres at the front getting the same footprint.......although flatter may induce more understeer too)
Sorry to jump in with my thoughts without knowing what you're trying to solve......I do that with murder mysteries on telly too
